tip:
Invisible savings your outdoor wedding
September is a lovely
time in most parts of the country for a beautiful outdoor
wedding. What's more, outdoor weddings can offer big savings!
Consider holding your wedding in
a regional park location -- many states have beautiful
sites for weddings that offer breathtaking natural scenery
for pictures. What's more, you'll be surprised how organized
and beautifully maintained these sites are -- they are often
important revenue sources for the local parks departments,
and so must be kept "competitive" with private locations.
You can end up hosting your wedding in one of your area's
most lovely locations, for a fraction of what you'd pay for
similar scenery in a private site. And if the site is a flower
garden ... you can even eliminate some of your florist expenses.
The one caveat: the best sites are
often booked well in advance. Give yourself plenty of time
to find the perfect public wedding site, and you could
be rewarded with a setting that's more beautiful than you
dreamed of, and a price well below your expectations.
This tip was provided by Amy, who held her
beautiful July wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden in Portland,
OR. She saved big on flowers, too! Thanks, Amy!
