This month's featured
tip:
Enjoy your Rehearsal Dinner ... but remember what comes next
Our tip for this month
comes from brutal experience: don't overdo at the rehearsal
dinner!
The wedding planner who provided the
tip recalls the groom who had taken a personal interest in
the catering for the wedding -- a true foodie who personally
planned the exotic menu from start to finish. But a touch
too much to drink the night before left him green ... barely
unable to enjoy the reception, let alone the food. What a
shame that he will now remember the day that they'd planned
so carefully as a day of queasiness and "toughing it
out."
It's easy for nerves and the intense
emotions of the rehearsal dinner to tempt you to overindulge
without even realizing you're doing so. Remind yourself beforehand
to take it easy ... and maybe join in some of the toasts with
your water goblet instead of your wine.
This tip was provided by Elizabeth, a wedding consultant
from Northern California. Thanks Elizabeth!
