Tips, Solutions and Ideas To Make Your Wedding Planning Less Stressful
May, 2006
This month's featured tip:
Personalize Your Table Numbers!
Here's a fun tip to make your wedding reception
a bit more personalized -- and give your guests something
to smile (and talk) about.
Instead of simply numbering your tables, identify
your reception tables with names that have particular meaning
for you and your fiancé.
For example, if you're art fans, try Monet, Van Gogh, Chagall,
Picasso, etc. If you're wine lovers, you could name your tables
"Cabernet," "Merlot," "Chardonnay,"
etc (maybe thrown in a "Thunderbird" or "Bartles
& Jaymes" to get the guests at that table wondering
how they were selected for the dubious honor of being seated
there!).
Other place card customization examples that
could lead to giggles -- and help guests who're meeting for
the first time to break the ice -- could include favorite
movies, books, cities. Let your imagination run ... have fun
with it!
