The majority of wedding vendors are highly
professional, and perform their jobs without a hitch -- but,
with so many interlocked pieces to a wedding, there is always
a chance that something could unexpectedly go wrong. Most
problems can be fixed easily, on the spot, if you know how
to get in touch with your vendors during your wedding day
... but what if you don't know how to reach them?
Be sure someone will be able to contact your
vendors in the event of a problem. Prepare a list of all the
vendors involved in your wedding day, and their phones (ideally,
cell phones) -- and be sure to bring it on your wedding day,
or delegate it to a friend or family member. (If you're working
with a coordinator, he/she will probably do this, but it is
helpful to doublecheck!)
Rather than carrying the wedding rings in
a pocket, ask whomever is holding on to them to wear
them on a pinkie or a thumb. Rings that have to be fished
out of pockets tend to be dropped ... and I've even seen a
set lost when they were dropped on a boat dock and slipped
through the cracks!
