Tips, Solutions and Ideas To Make Your Wedding Planning Less Stressful
June, 2006 (June Brides!)
This month's featured tip:
When you can't use the wedding dress you've been saving
Have you always dreamed of using your mom's
or grandmother's antique wedding dress, and now found that
it doesn't fit and can't be altered, or is simply too discolored
or damaged from years of storage?
Instead of giving up on including the treasured gown you've
been saving, try including it in a different way: use material
from the gown to make custom bridal accessories such as a
ring pillow, handkerchief and/or garter.
Or, consider displaying the gown (or maybe several from your
female relatives) at your reception -- a great way to honor
your family, and a conversation piece as well.nd help guests
who're meeting for the first time to break the ice -- could
include favorite movies, books, cities. Let your imagination
run ... have fun with it!
