Tips, Solutions and Ideas To Make Your Wedding Planning Less Stressful
February, 2004 -- Happy Valentine's Day!
This month's theme: Great Wine
for your Wedding! Our tip is from Paul Birman of Plumpjack
Wines:
The first step in choosing your wines --
champagne or sparkling wine for toasting, and red and white
wines for your meal -- is to determine your budget. Quality
is obviously very important, but, remember, your guests are
unlikely to spend the evening swirling and sniffing. The focus
should be on how well the wines complement the food. A Chardonnay
and Cabernet Sauvignon selection should work well with most
menus. Be sure to visit your local wine merchant for advice
specific to your menu, and be sure to allow enough time to
take some of the recommended wines home to try with your family.
